About Us

To cater the need and modalities for Agribusiness promotion, a revamped “Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojna- Remunerative Approaches for Agriculture and Allied Sector Rejuvenation” (RKVY-RAFTAAR) has been launched in 2017-18 with a component for innovation and Agri entrepreneurship.

Process

Process of RKVY-RAFTAAR Agri-Business Incubation Centre (R-ABI) for selection of incubatee/startup for grant-in-aid supported by Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Govt. of India

  • Step 1

    Calling of Applications by publicity (Pre-Seed: having an innovative idea, Seed: ready with prototype/ product or existing startup)

  • Step 2

    Finalizing suitable date for RKVY-RAFTAAR Incubation Committee-I (RIC-I) meet by Chairperson.

  • Step 3

    Presentation in front of RIC-I in prescribed format. (Incomplete applications are rejected before presentation)

  • Step 4

    Shortlisting of applications by RIC-I for two months residential orientation programme.

  • Step 5

    Conduction of two months residential orientation programme.

  • Step 6

    Finalizing a suitable date for RKVY-RAFTAAR Incubation Committee-II (RIC-II) meet by the Chairperson.

  • Step 7

    Submission of Investment forms in prescribed format by participants having satisfactory attendance, at the end of two months residential orientation programme.

  • Step 8

    Presentation of the Business Model in front of RIC-II.

  • Step 9

    RIC-II shortlisting the investment forms (proposals) for recommendation of grant-in-aid to Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, (MoA & FW) Govt. of India.

  • Step 10

    Proposals recommended by RIC-II has sent to MoA & FW, Govt. of India.

  • Step 11

    MoA & FW constitute the RKVY-RAFTAAR Selection & Monitoring committee (RC).

  • Step 12

    Presentation of the Business Model in front of RC.

  • Step 13

    Shortlisting the proposals by RC for approval of grant-in-aid and sent it to MoA & FW.

  • Step 14

    Sanction of proposals for grant-I aid by MoA & FW, Govt. of India

  • Step 15

    Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) will be sign between startup and R-ABI.

“Goal” is a two months Incubation program for potential farmers/ start-ups/ budding entrepreneurs that have a innovative idea for increasing efficiency in agriculture & allied sectors. The successful candidates will become eligible to apply for Grant-in-Aid up to Rs 5 lakh.

Aim

“Aim” is a two months Incubation program for potential farmers/ start-ups/ budding entrepreneurs that have a minimum viable product (MVP) based on innovative solutions/ processes/ products/ services/ business model for increasing efficiency in agriculture & allied sectors. The successful candidates will become eligible to apply for Grant-in-Aid up to Rs 25 lakh.
